A forward-thinking law firm is seeking a Junior Associate Attorney with 1–3 years of litigation experience to join its team in Downstate New York. Location:

• Garden City, NY

Duties:

• Assist with all phases of litigation, including discovery, motion practice, and trial preparation

• Draft pleadings, motions, discovery requests and responses, and legal memoranda

• Conduct legal research and prepare comprehensive analytical reports

• Attend court conferences, depositions, and hearings, as appropriate

• Manage deadlines and ensure compliance with client and court guidelines

• Maintain accurate billing and time entry records

Requirements:

• 1–3 years of litigation experience, preferably in a law firm setting

• Admission to practice law in New York is required

• Ability to manage multiple tasks independently and as part of a team

• Federal court or appellate experience is a plus, but not required

• Familiarity with professional liability, product liability, or appellate work is a plus

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited U.S. law school

Certifications:

• Active and in good standing with the New York State Bar

• Additional bar admissions (NJ, CT, or PA) are a plus
