This role will primarily focus on medical malpractice defense, with responsibilities spanning court appearances, depositions, expert consultations, drafting reports, motion practices, and reviewing case records.

Duties:

• Manage medical malpractice defense cases, including drafting and filing motions.
• Conduct depositions and represent clients in court proceedings.
• Collaborate with clients to provide updates and prepare case strategies.
• Review records, documents, and other evidence critical to case development.
• Communicate with experts to gather information and build case arguments.
• Work effectively in a team setting, while handling a significant caseload independently.

Requirements:

• 2-5 years of experience in civil defense litigation.
• Active admission to the New York State Bar.
• Proficient in motion practice, depositions, and case management.
• Ability to balance independent work and team collaboration.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Must be licensed to practice law in New York.
