Duties

• Provide legal counsel in estate planning, elder law planning, Medicaid, and special needs planning.
• Develop tailored estate plans for clients with both non-taxable and larger estates.
• Work closely with clients to understand their unique needs and create personalized legal solutions.
• Collaborate with the team to provide comprehensive legal services and client support.
• Maintain open, clear communication with clients and team members.
• Help clients navigate the complex process of Medicaid planning and special needs trusts.

Requirements

• Licensed to practice law in Arkansas.
• Solid background in estate planning and elder law planning preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Willingness to work collaboratively as part of a team.
• Attorneys with established experience in estate planning or related practice areas preferred.
• Recent law graduates with a demonstrated interest in estate planning and elder law may be considered.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Admission to the Arkansas State Bar.

Skills

• Strong knowledge of estate planning and elder law.
• Experience in Medicaid and special needs planning is a plus.
• Excellent interpersonal and client-facing communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with other attorneys and staff.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
