A law firm seeks a partner-level attorney with at least seven years of experience advising clients on FDA regulatory matters to join its team in Seattle, WA. This role involves leading and expanding the firm's FDA and consumer products regulatory capabilities, working with clients in the food, beverage, dietary supplement, cosmetics, wellness, and broader consumer products industries.

Duties

• Advise clients on FDA regulatory compliance for consumer products.
• Counsel on labeling, packaging, advertising, and promotional claims.
• Manage inspections, enforcement matters, and recalls.
• Lead regulatory aspects of financing, investment, and M&A transactions.
• Negotiate commercial transactions and contracts.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on client matters.

Requirements

• Minimum seven years of experience in FDA regulatory compliance.
• Experience with USDA regulatory compliance is preferred.
• Portable book of business and interest in client relationship development.
• Experience with CPSC, FTC, and related regulatory matters is a plus.
• Admission to practice law in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
• California Bar admission is a plus.
• Strong analytical, writing, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple matters efficiently.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
