Job Overview

A law firm seeks a Class Action Litigation Associate for its Seattle, WA office. The successful candidate will join a team dedicated to defending employers in a variety of employment-related legal matters.

Duties

• Handle defense of agency charges of discrimination and employment-related lawsuits, including wage and hour class/collective actions.
• Advise and train employers on employment laws and regulations, including anti-discrimination laws.
• Represent employers in court, before administrative agencies, at mediations, and in arbitration on employment matters.

Requirements

• Juris Doctorate (JD) from an ABA-accredited law school.
• 3+ years of experience in class action litigation defense work.
• Admitted to the Washington Bar and in good standing.
• Strong desire for early courtroom exposure.
• Understanding of current agency enforcement techniques.
