Duties

• Handle family law matters, including divorce, custody, support, alimony, property division, and domestic violence.
• Draft legal documents such as motions, pleadings, and settlement agreements.
• Provide compassionate and strategic legal counsel to clients.
• Develop and execute case strategies.
• Negotiate settlements and handle mediations/arbitrations.
• Represent clients in court, including hearings and trials.
• Communicate regularly with clients on case progress.
• Collaborate with attorneys, paralegals, and support staff.
• Participate in training, firm meetings, and CLEs.
• Support business development through events and outreach.

Requirements

• JD from an accredited law school.
• Active Florida Bar membership in good standing.
• Minimum 2 years of family law experience.
• Proven track record in handling family law cases.
• Strong knowledge of Florida family law and procedures.
• Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines.
• Strong negotiation and advocacy skills.

Education

• JD from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Active Florida Bar membership.

• Legal research proficiency.
• Litigation and advocacy expertise.
• Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and legal practice management software.
