The ideal candidate will have 2-6 years of experience in employment litigation, including California wage-hour class action claims and PAGA cases. Duties

• Handle employment litigation matters from start to finish, including pleadings, discovery, depositions, and motion practice.
• Participate in mediation and settlement negotiations.
• Advise and represent clients on various employment law issues, with a focus on compliance and dispute resolution.
• Collaborate with colleagues and clients to develop case strategies and ensure the best possible outcome.
• Manage a caseload involving Tennessee and California employment litigation.
• Ensure timely responses to discovery requests and pleadings.
• Guide California wage-hour claims, including class actions and PAGA cases.
• Foster and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring high levels of service and satisfaction.

Requirements

• 2-6 years of experience in employment litigation, with a particular focus on California employment law.
• Proven experience handling wage-hour class action claims and PAGA cases.
• Admission to the California Bar is required; Tennessee Bar admission is a plus.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with an ability to draft clear and persuasive legal documents.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment, while maintaining attention to detail.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• High level of responsiveness to client and team needs.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Admission to the California State Bar (required).
• Admission to the Tennessee State Bar (preferred).
