Duties

• Handle personal injury and insurance defense matters including:

  • Motor vehicle accidents

  • Products liability

  • Homeowners’ claims

  • Premises liability

  • Commercial litigation

• Conduct and attend depositions, hearings, mediations, and appeals

• Prepare and respond to discovery

• Participate in pre-trial preparation

• Support or lead trial efforts based on experience and preference

• Collaborate with partners and work alongside a dedicated legal assistant

• Maintain accurate records and meet monthly billable hour requirements (155 hours/month or 1,860 annually)

Requirements

• 0–3 years of litigation or relevant legal experience

• Strong interest in insurance defense and civil litigation

• Willingness to engage in all phases of litigation

• Ability to contribute positively to firm culture

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school

Certifications

• Active license to practice law in the state of California (in good standing)
