Commercial Transactions Attorney

Profile

A law firm seeks a Transactional Attorney to join its Aviation & Transportation Practice Group in Eden Prairie, MN, leveraging at least four years of experience in business and commercial law to support asset-based transactions and financing matters.

Duties

• Oversee drafting, review, and negotiation of commercial agreements, loan documents, and security instruments

• Manage asset-based transactions from inception through closing, including equipment leasing and financing arrangements

• Collaborate with senior practice‐area attorneys to develop strategy and resolve complex legal issues

• Independently advance projects to completion, coordinating with internal teams and external parties

• Provide practical guidance on regulatory and compliance considerations within the transportation sector

Requirements

• Minimum of 4 years’ transactional experience, including business, commercial, or finance/loan work

• Demonstrated ability to drive matters autonomously while consulting senior lawyers

• Familiarity with equipment leasing/financing or aviation-related legal frameworks preferred

• Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail

Education

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school

• Admission to the Minnesota bar (or eligibility for immediate admission)

Certifications

• Active license to practice law in Minnesota
