The ideal candidate should have a minimum of two years of experience in personal injury or employment litigation and a proven track record of successful legal representation. The role involves various legal tasks, including but not limited to research, case preparation, and trial support.

Duties:

• Conduct legal research to support case development.
• Draft, prepare, and file legal documents such as pleadings, briefs, and motions.
• Prepare responses to discovery demands.
• Review expert reports and provide analysis.
• Take and defend depositions.
• Argue motions in court.
• Participate in arbitration proceedings.
• Provide trial preparation support.
• Manage client communications and expectations.
• Collaborate with senior attorneys and other team members in case strategy discussions.

Requirements:

• At least 2 years of experience in personal injury and/or employment litigation.
• Proficient in taking and defending depositions.
• Strong legal research and writing skills.
• Solid understanding of legal procedures and court systems.
• Experience with trial preparation and courtroom appearances.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Active New Jersey Bar License (or eligibility to waive in).

Skills:

• Legal research and analysis.
• Drafting and reviewing legal documents.
• Deposition and discovery procedures.
• Courtroom presence and litigation experience.
