Duties

• Stay informed on changes to local, state, and federal laws.
• Represent clients in court hearings and argue motions.
• Prepare legal documents, including motions, pleadings, and discovery requests.
• Conduct research and draft legal briefs and memoranda.
• Develop case strategies for removal defense and represent clients before EOIR.
• Prepare clients and witnesses for hearings.
• Represent clients in USCIS interviews and filings.
• Supervise paralegals in preparing case documents.
• Provide strategic guidance to clients on immigration challenges.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of experience as a senior associate attorney.
• Experience in trial, mediation, and arbitration representation.
• Ability to manage a heavy caseload independently.
• Member of state and local bar associations in good standing.
• Strong writing and verbal communication skills.
• Minimum 2-3 years of experience in immigration law.
• Bilingual proficiency (Spanish or Russian preferred).

Education

• J.D. from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Active license to practice law in any U.S. state.
