Trademark Associate Attorney

Profile

A law firm in Boulder is seeking a skilled Trademark Associate Attorney with 2-5 years of experience to join their team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in trademark searching, global trademark strategy development, and domestic and international trademark prosecution and enforcement. Experience with TTAB proceedings, online and social media enforcement, and UDRP proceedings is considered advantageous. Exceptional writing and communication skills are essential, and fluency in foreign languages is highly valued.

Job Duties:

• Conduct trademark searches and provide clearance opinions
• Develop and implement global trademark strategies
• Handle domestic and international trademark prosecution and enforcement matters
• Assist with TTAB proceedings, online, and social media enforcement
• Participate in UDRP proceedings when necessary
• Draft legal documents, including trademark applications, responses, and briefs
• Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and government agencies
• Conduct legal research and stay updated on trademark law developments
• Assist with trademark portfolio management and maintenance

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
• Admission to the Colorado State Bar (or ability to waive in)
• 2-5 years of experience practicing trademark law
• Strong knowledge of trademark law principles and procedures
• Experience with trademark searching, prosecution, and enforcement
• Familiarity with TTAB proceedings and UDRP proceedings (preferred)
• Superior writing and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills
• Fluency in foreign languages (preferred)
