Associate Attorney needed for Denver office

Job Overview:
A reputable litigation firm based in the Denver Tech Center area is seeking an experienced Associate Attorney with 2–10 years of litigation background. This position is ideal for a motivated attorney with a strong foundation in insurance-related litigation—including coverage disputes, personal injury, premises liability, construction defects, and bad faith claims. The successful candidate will manage cases from initial evaluation through trial and appeal, gaining hands-on experience and autonomy in a dynamic legal environment.

Location:

• Denver, Colorado

Duties:

• Investigate and defend first- and third-party insurance claims

• Conduct and defend depositions

• Draft dispositive motions and legal briefs

• Attend and represent clients in state and federal court hearings

• Draft insurance coverage opinions and conduct examinations under oath (EUOs)

• Manage cases from pre-litigation evaluation through trial and potential appeal

• Perform thorough legal research and apply independent legal analysis

• Collaborate with clients and legal teams to develop case strategies

Requirements:

• 2 to 10 years of litigation experience

• Background in insurance-related litigation preferred (coverage disputes, personal injury, premises liability, bad faith claims, and construction defect cases)

• Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines in a fast-paced setting

• Proven ability to problem-solve and communicate effectively with clients and colleagues

• Collegial, team-oriented professional with a positive and proactive approach

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality work

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an ABA-accredited law school

• Strong academic background preferred

Certifications:

• Active license to practice law in the state of Colorado

Skills:

• Proficiency in legal research and drafting complex legal documents

• Strong litigation skills including deposition and courtroom experience

• Technologically proficient and comfortable with legal research tools

• Collaborative and outgoing personality
