Job Overview:

A prestigious law firm is seeking a Senior Litigation Associate with 5+ years of experience, preferably in high exposure, catastrophic personal injury cases, including products liability and general negligence. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in civil litigation, taking and defending depositions, drafting motions, and preparing for trial. This hybrid position allows flexibility while offering an opportunity to work on complex and high-profile cases.

Location:

• Los Angeles, California

Duties:

• Take and defend expert and witness depositions

• Draft original motions and other litigation-related documents for complex cases

• Draft discovery requests and responses to be exchanged with various parties

• Develop and maintain client relationships through oral and written communication

• Prepare for trial, including motions in limine, exhibit lists, and witness lists

Requirements:

• 5+ years of civil litigation experience, preferably in personal injury, products liability, and general negligence (Preferred)

• Juris Doctor (JD) from a top law school (Required)

• Licensed and in good standing in California (Required)

• Self-motivated and high-energy individual, capable of meeting deadlines (Required)

• Experience working in a billable work environment (Required)

• Superior written and oral communication skills with a high level of attention to detail (Required)

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

• Licensed to practice law in California (Required)

Skills:

• Civil litigation (personal injury, products liability, general negligence)

• Legal research and writing

• Deposition skills (taking and defending)

• Trial preparation

• Client relationship management
