Job Description: 

We are seeking an experienced and self-motivated Workers’ Compensation Defense Attorney to join our team in a fully remote capacity. The ideal candidate will have proven WCAB trial experience, a strong understanding of California workers’ compensation law, and the ability to manage a full caseload independently. This position offers the flexibility of working remotely while collaborating with a supportive legal team committed to providing high-quality defense representation. 
 

Responsibilities: 

• Handle a full caseload of workers’ compensation defense matters from inception through resolution 

• Represent clients in all WCAB proceedings, including trials, conferences, depositions, and hearings 

• Conduct legal research, draft pleadings, motions, and briefs 

• Evaluate case value and negotiate settlements 

• Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, medical providers, and WCAB judges 

• Provide strategic guidance and updates to clients and claims professionals 

• Ensure compliance with legal standards and deadlines 

Qualifications: 

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school 

• Active and in good standing with the California State Bar 

• Experience in workers’ compensation defense 

• WCAB trial experience is required 

• Excellent litigation, negotiation, and case management skills 

• Strong written and verbal communication skills 

• Ability to work independently in a remote environment while meeting deadlines
