Duties

• Advise clients on M&A transactions, debt, and financing transactions.
• Design and implement tax-efficient structures for joint ventures and corporate transactions.
• Provide state tax planning advice to clients.
• Write and publish alerts and articles on tax law changes and developments.
• Collaborate with team members, working from the office approximately 60% of the time.

Requirements

• JD or LLM from an ABA-accredited law school.
• Admitted or eligible for admission in New York.
• At least three years of transactional tax experience, focusing on corporate and partnership taxation.
• Previous experience in an accounting firm or clean energy sector is a plus.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• High level of professionalism with demanding clients.
• Ability to prioritize, stay organized, and pay attention to detail.
• Effective collaboration in team settings.

Education

• JD or LLM from an ABA-accredited law school.
