Duties:

• Represent clients in felony and misdemeanor criminal matters from intake through trial

• Prepare and argue pretrial motions, conduct plea negotiations, and appear at hearings

• Serve as lead or co-counsel in jury trials

• Conduct legal research and draft memoranda, motions, and trial briefs

• Provide case strategy and trial preparation, including witness preparation and evidence review

• Collaborate closely with internal legal teams to ensure cohesive defense strategies

• Maintain regular communication with clients to manage expectations and explain developments

• Ensure all case-related documentation and filings are handled in a timely and accurate manner

Requirements:

• Licensed to practice law in Arizona or eligible for reciprocity

• Experience in criminal litigation (felony/misdemeanor)

• Proven experience conducting jury trials or evidentiary hearings

• Comfortable handling high-stakes cases in a fast-paced litigation setting

• Commitment to ethics, integrity, and client-centered service

• In-office presence required; remote work not available for this role

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

• Admission to the Arizona State Bar (or ability to obtain admission promptly)

Skills:

• Exceptional trial advocacy and oral argument proficiency

• Outstanding legal writing and analytical thinking

• Strong interpersonal skills and client communication abilities

Job Location:
