Duties

• Represent clients in a variety of criminal cases, including felony and misdemeanor charges

• Conduct thorough legal research and draft motions, pleadings, and other legal documents

• Advise clients on legal options and case strategy, ensuring full understanding of their rights

• Attend and litigate pre-trial hearings, trials, sentencing, and post-conviction proceedings

• Collaborate with investigators, paralegals, and other legal staff to support defense preparation

• Travel across Arizona as necessary to attend court proceedings

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience practicing as a criminal defense attorney

• Licensed to practice law in Arizona and in good standing with the Arizona State Bar

• Demonstrated ability to manage a full caseload with minimal supervision

• Strong courtroom presence and confidence in adversarial proceedings

Education

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school

Certifications

• Active Arizona Bar license in good standing

Skills

• Advanced litigation, negotiation, and advocacy abilities

• Proficient in legal research and writing

• Strong client communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work independently and maintain composure in high-pressure situations

• Bilingual in English and Spanish is preferred but not required
