Duties

• Represent clients in immigration matters, including family-based, employment-based, and humanitarian cases.
• Prepare, review, and file petitions, applications, and supporting documentation with relevant government agencies.
• Advise clients on U.S. immigration laws, regulations, and procedural requirements.
• Handle cases involving visas, green cards, naturalization, and removal defense.
• Stay current with changes in immigration laws and policies to provide accurate legal counsel.
• Represent clients during USCIS interviews, immigration court hearings, and appeals.
• Develop strategies to resolve complex immigration issues and mitigate potential risks.
• Maintain thorough documentation and case files in compliance with legal standards.

Requirements

• 10 years of experience practicing immigration law.
• Demonstrated success managing a high-volume caseload involving diverse immigration matters.
• Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills.
• Excellent oral advocacy and client counseling abilities.
• Licensed to practice law in Colorado or eligible for reciprocity.
• Deep understanding of current immigration regulations and procedures.

Education

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Additional certifications in immigration law are preferred but not required.
• Membership in professional immigration law associations is a plus.
