Job Overview
A law firm seeks a highly motivated associate to join its Finance, Bankruptcy & Restructuring Practice Group on the Financial Services Team in Charlotte, NC.

Duties

• Document, negotiate, and close secured and unsecured credit facilities and loan transactions.
• Conduct due diligence for various financial transactions.
• Manage large commercial and corporate lending transactions from inception through post-closing.

Requirements

• 3-5 years of sophisticated finance experience.
• Experience with syndicated credit facilities and tax credit finance preferred.
• Strong academic credentials.
• Outstanding written and oral communication skills.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Commitment to exceptional client service.
• Licensed or eligible to be licensed to practice law in North Carolina.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

Certifications

• Licensed to practice law in North Carolina or eligibility for immediate licensure.

Skills

• Proven experience in finance and restructuring law.
• Strong negotiation and documentation skills.
• Ability to manage complex transactions.
