Duties

• Develop litigation and settlement strategies to protect client interests.
• Conduct all phases of litigation, including pleadings, discovery, and trial.
• Handle emergency domestic relations matters and custody proceedings.
• Advise on premarital, postnuptial, and cohabitation agreements.
• Collaborate with financial experts and other professionals.
• Serve as a trusted advisor to high-net-worth individuals and families.
• Manage confidential matters with discretion and professionalism.
• Counsel clients on risk assessment and long-term financial planning.

Requirements

• Minimum of 12-15 years of family law experience.
• Significant first-chair litigation experience.
• Expertise in high-net-worth divorce and complex domestic relations.
• Proven track record with substantial marital estates and financial issues.
• Extensive courtroom, mediation, and negotiation experience.
• Strong business development skills and client relationship generation.
• Licensed to practice in Rhode Island and in good standing.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree
