Job Overview:
A premier law firm is seeking a talented Associate Attorney to join its Banking & Finance practice group. This position offers the opportunity to work on a wide variety of sophisticated financing transactions, including private credit, syndicated loan deals, and growth capital financings, for both borrowers and lenders. The role provides the chance to collaborate with high-performing legal teams on both domestic and international matters, in a collegial and growth-focused environment.

Duties:
Advise lenders and borrowers on complex debt financing transactions
Draft, negotiate, and manage legal documents related to private credit, syndicated loans, and other financings
Participate in both U.S. and cross-border transactions
Provide strategic counsel to clients in structuring and closing deals
Collaborate with partners and associates across various offices and disciplines
Deliver high-level client service and foster strong professional relationships
Requirements:
2 to 6 years of law firm experience in banking and finance transactions
Demonstrated ability to manage transactions and deliver results under tight deadlines
Strong commitment to client service, collaboration, and legal excellence
Must be a member of the Bar in at least one U.S. state
Must meet the practice requirements of the jurisdiction of employment
Education:
Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school
Certifications:
Active membership in good standing with a U.S. state bar
Eligibility to practice law in the relevant jurisdiction
Skills:
Strong legal drafting, negotiation, and analytical skills
Familiarity with various lending structures and finance instruments
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced legal setting
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong attention to detail and organizational capabilities
