A well-established law firm based in Las Vegas, NV, is seeking a proactive Litigation Associate to support its dynamic legal practice. This opportunity is ideal for a motivated professional who is eager to engage in complex civil litigation matters and contribute to high-stakes cases from inception through trial. The role involves hands-on responsibility, direct client engagement, and the chance to collaborate with seasoned legal professionals in a hybrid working environment.

Duties:

• Handle all aspects of civil litigation matters, including personal injury, wrongful death, premises liability, construction disputes, and commercial conflicts

• Develop a case strategy and manage litigation timelines

• Draft pleadings, discovery, and various motions

• Conduct legal research and analysis

• Take and defend depositions

• Represent clients in court proceedings, including motion hearings and mediations

• Work directly with clients and opposing counsel

• Collaborate with partners and senior attorneys for guidance and mentorship

Requirements:

• Minimum of 1 year of civil litigation experience in a legal setting (newly licensed attorneys will be considered)

• Strong command of litigation procedure and case management

• Ability to independently manage a litigation caseload

• Effective written and verbal advocacy skills

• Professional demeanor and a commitment to client service

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited institution

Certifications:

• Active admission to the State Bar of Nevada

Skills:

• Excellent research, drafting, and analytical skills

• Proficiency in legal software and case management tools

• Comfortable managing deadlines and multiple priorities

• Collaborative team player with strong interpersonal abilities

• Demonstrated initiative and attention to detail
