Duties

• Ensure daily clearance of case management software feed.
• Complete all assigned tasks by relevant due dates.
• Document all assigned cases properly in CMS.
• Develop and lead case strategies, including trial preparation.
• Manage and monitor assigned caseload for timely progression.
• Negotiate settlements and oversee mediations, arbitrations, and trials.
• Approve settlement agreements and releases.
• Draft and review specialized legal communications.
• Facilitate regular meetings with Claim Specialists.
• Complete initial 72-hour contacts with new clients.
• Address complex client concerns and manage expectations.
• Complete quarterly meaningful client contacts.
• Assess cases for immediate demand and review red-flag records.
• Audit cases for lifecare plan or future care requirements.
• Inform Claims Assistant of reductions to requests.
• Prepare Poremba/Breen letters as needed.
• Attend litigation transfer and administrative staff meetings.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited institution with a Juris Doctor degree.
• Licensed to practice law in Nevada and in good standing with the Nevada State Bar.
• Valid Nevada driver's license, insurance, and proof of driving record.

Preferred Qualifications

• Minimum of two years of experience in personal injury litigation.
• Proven settlement negotiation track record.
• Trial experience.

Education

• Juris Doctor degree from an accredited institution.

Certifications

• Licensed to practice law in Nevada.

Skills

• Strong case management and documentation skills.
• Excellent negotiation and communication abilities.
• Ability to develop and lead litigation strategies.
