Job Overview:
A Minneapolis-based law firm is currently seeking a litigation associate to join its Intellectual Property & Technology practice group. The ideal candidate will bring a strong foundation in complex litigation matters related to intellectual property and emerging technologies. Duties:

• Support and lead components of litigation matters involving patents, trade secrets, and technology disputes

• Draft pleadings, discovery documents, and dispositive motions

• Conduct legal research and complex fact investigations

• Participate in strategy development and client meetings

• Assist in preparing for hearings, depositions, and trials

• Collaborate with legal teams and technical experts on case development

• Interpret and communicate complex technical concepts effectively in a legal context

• Manage and prioritize assignments across multiple cases and deadlines

Requirements:

• 3-5 years of litigation experience with a concentration in intellectual property and/or technology-related disputes

• Demonstrated interest in trial practice and courtroom advocacy

• Admission to practice in Minnesota or the ability to obtain admission promptly

• Additional Bar admissions and USPTO registration are beneficial

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited U.S. law school

• Strong academic credentials preferred

Certifications:

• Admission to practice law in Minnesota (required)
