A law firm in Orlando is seeking a Tax Associate Attorney or Of Counsel to join their team. The ideal candidate will be academically distinguished with excellent writing and analytical skills. The role involves participation in building the existing practice, significant client contact, and the opportunity to move into a leadership role in the long term. The candidate must possess a Juris Doctorate or better in Law and have at least 5 years of relevant experience in estate planning.

Duties:

• Provide legal advice and counsel on tax matters related to estate planning.
• Draft and review legal documents including wills, trusts, and powers of attorney.
• Conduct legal research on tax laws and regulations to ensure compliance.
• Advise clients on tax implications of estate planning decisions.
• Collaborate with other attorneys and professionals within the firm to develop comprehensive estate plans for clients.
• Represent clients in tax disputes and audits.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctorate or better in Law.
• 5+ years of relevant experience in estate planning.
• Admission to the State Bar (active and in good standing).
• Strong understanding of tax laws and regulations.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
• Exceptional attention to detail and analytical skills.

Skills:

• Proficiency in legal research and writing.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively.
