Location:

Duties:

• Defend clients in medical malpractice and insurance defense matters
• Prepare and manage cases through trial, including drafting legal documents and motions
• Participate in depositions, mediations, and court hearings
• Work closely with senior attorneys on case strategies
• Conduct legal research and provide analysis
• Client communication and case updates
• Collaborate with a team of attorneys across various offices

Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience in insurance defense, with a focus on medical malpractice claims (preferred but not required)
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Proven ability to handle complex litigation matters
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

• Admitted to the Massachusetts Bar (Required)

Skills:

• Insurance defense and litigation experience
• Legal research and writing
• Trial preparation and deposition handling
• Medical malpractice defense (preferred but not required)
• Strong communication and client management skills
• Ability to work in a collaborative, fast-paced environment
