Duties

• Represent and manage complex cases, including research, drafting, and trial preparation.
• Supervise a team of paralegals, delegating tasks and monitoring performance.
• Provide feedback and support to ensure team accuracy and quality.
• Oversee team attendance and approve timecards.
• Collaborate with the managing partner and other business areas to support clients.
• Develop strategies to improve team efficiency and departmental performance.
• Provide updates and reports on key metrics to the Managing Partner.
• Stay informed on relevant regulations to ensure compliance.
• Perform other duties as assigned to support departmental needs.

Requirements

• Juris Doctorate required.
• Barred and in good standing in NY required; other state licensures a plus.
• 2-3 years of litigation experience required.
• 2-3 years of drafting experience required.
• Managerial experience strongly preferred.
• Experience in a start-up or small business a plus.

Education

• Juris Doctorate
