A prominent law firm located in San Francisco, CA, seeks a driven and experienced litigation associate to join its expanding Mass Tort and Product Liability team. This hybrid position offers an opportunity to engage in sophisticated, high-stakes matters alongside a nationally recognized litigation group. The role is ideal for an attorney eager to participate in trials and complex case strategy in a collaborative, mentorship-focused environment.

Duties

• Prepare and draft legal pleadings, motions, and other court filings

• Perform in-depth legal research and support strategic litigation planning

• Conduct and defend depositions of parties and witnesses

• Contribute to all phases of trial readiness, including discovery management and witness preparation

• Deliver oral arguments and attend hearings as required

• Support partners and senior team members in multi-jurisdictional litigation

• Engage in client-facing interactions and provide advisory support throughout the litigation process

Requirements

• 2 to 7 years of relevant litigation experience, preferably in mass tort or product liability defense

• Background in other civil defense areas may be considered within the specified experience range

• Demonstrated experience managing discovery, depositions, and motion practice

• Strong oral and written advocacy skills

• Interest in or exposure to trial work

• Active membership in the California State Bar

Education

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an ABA-accredited institution

Certifications

• Admission to the California Bar (required)
