A law firm seeks an experienced Engineering, Procurement, and Construction Attorney to join their Energy, Environmental, Mining, and Transportation Division in St. Louis, MO. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in drafting and negotiating complex agreements related to energy projects and infrastructure.

Duties

• Draft and negotiate EPC and balance of plant agreements for energy projects.
• Handle equipment supply contracts and long-term service agreements.
• Manage subcontracts and vendor agreements within the EPC framework.
• Draft asset management and operations agreements with major vendors.
• Collaborate with legal teams on project development matters.
• Identify and resolve complex legal issues creatively and strategically.

Requirements

• Minimum of ten years of legal experience in EPC and related agreements.
• Experience with energy projects such as wind, solar, or gas facilities.
• Strong writing, oral advocacy, and analytical skills.
• Active license to practice law or eligibility to waive in.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Active law license in the desired location.
