A law firm seeks an Associate Attorney in Los Angeles, CA, to join their expanding consumer warranty litigation defense practice. Duties

• Draft motions, discovery, briefs, and related legal documents.
• Conduct and defend depositions.
• Participate in settlement discussions and prepare settlement agreements.
• Appear in court for hearings and law & motion.
• Engage in meet-and-confer efforts with opposing counsel.
• Assist with trial preparation and strategy.
• Perform legal research to support case development and motion work.

Requirements

• Licensed and in good standing with the California State Bar.
• Up to 3 years of civil litigation experience (consumer warranty experience is a plus but not required).
• Strong writing, research, and communication skills.
• Highly organized with the ability to manage deadlines.
• Comfortable working both independently and collaboratively.
• Motivated, dependable, and eager to develop litigation skills within a supportive environment.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Active California State Bar membership.
