Location

Duties

• Manage a caseload involving first-party property insurance disputes

• Navigate Florida's pre-suit requirements for property litigation

• Draft and respond to motions, pleadings, and discovery requests

• Prepare legal correspondence and exhibits for hearings and mediation

• Take and defend depositions

• Coordinate with expert witnesses such as contractors and engineers

• Represent clients at mediations and other legal proceedings

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of experience handling first-party property litigation (plaintiff or defense)

• Familiarity with Florida insurance litigation procedures and pre-suit protocols

• Ability to manage case files independently while working within a collaborative legal team

• Willingness to travel for hearings, mediations, and depositions as needed

Education

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school

Certifications

• Active member in good standing with the Florida Bar
