Duties

• Represent clients in legal proceedings across the New York Metro area

• Manage a caseload involving general liability, construction site incidents, and property-related injury claims

• Conduct legal research, draft pleadings, and prepare motions

• Participate in depositions, mediations, and settlement negotiations

• Handle discovery obligations and client communications

• Appear in court for conferences, hearings, and trials as needed

• Collaborate with colleagues and staff to ensure high-quality legal service delivery

Requirements

• 1-3 years of litigation experience handling premises, construction, labor law, or general liability claims and actions, to appear in court in the City and surrounding area

• Familiarity with premises liability, labor law, or general tort claims

• Admitted to practice in New York State

• Strong organizational and time management skills

• Ability to manage a full caseload with minimal supervision

• Effective communication and advocacy skills in both written and oral forms

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school

Certifications

• Must be licensed to practice law in the State of New York
