Location:

• White Plains, New York

Duties:

• Manage a caseload of insurance defense matters under the supervision of senior attorneys

• Draft motions, pleadings, legal memoranda, and status reports

• Attend and conduct court appearances, including preliminary conferences and motion hearings

• Handle depositions of parties, witnesses, and experts

• Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and the court

• Ensure timely case progression and maintain organized case files

Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience litigating insurance defense matters in New York State courts

• Prior experience handling depositions and preparing motions

• Ability to manage deadlines and multiple assignments effectively

• Detail-oriented with strong legal analysis and problem-solving skills

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

• Admission to the New York State Bar (required)

• Admission to the Connecticut Bar is a plus
