Job Overview:
A law firm based in Fort Collins, CO, is seeking a skilled and driven litigation attorney with a strong interest in personal injury law. This role involves working alongside seasoned trial lawyers who are active leaders in nationally recognized legal organizations. The position offers the opportunity to gain advanced courtroom experience, collaborate with experienced litigators, and contribute to meaningful advocacy for injured clients. The hiring is being conducted through a legal recruiting partner on behalf of the firm.

Duties:

• Represent clients in personal injury matters from intake through trial and post-trial proceedings

• Conduct depositions, hearings, mediations, and jury trials

• Draft pleadings, motions, and other court filings

• Perform in-depth legal research using advanced tools

• Participate in case strategy development with senior litigation staff

• Guide junior legal personnel and administrative team members

• Collaborate with external experts and consultants as needed

Requirements:

• Licensed to practice law in Colorado or eligible for prompt admission

• Demonstrated experience handling personal injury or tort litigation

• Exceptional legal writing and analytical capabilities

• Skilled in managing multiple complex matters simultaneously

• Comfortable operating within a collaborative and fast-paced legal team

• Track record of courtroom confidence and persuasive advocacy

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from a U.S.-accredited law school

Certifications:

• Active and in good standing membership with a State Bar (Colorado preferred)

Skills:

• Proficient in LexisNexis, Westlaw, and case management platforms

• Strong verbal communication and negotiation skills

• Precise attention to detail in legal drafting

• Ability to offer mentorship and contribute to a team learning environment
