Duties

• Conduct legal research and provide guidance on federal, state, and local campaign finance, lobbying, and ethics laws.
• Counsel on the formation and maintenance of ballot measure and independent expenditure committees.
• Oversee the preparation of campaign finance and lobbying reports.
• Develop and deliver presentations on political law compliance issues in client trainings, seminars, and conferences.
• Advise on nonprofit compliance and governance issues.

Requirements

• Strong academic credentials (top 20%).
• Excellent research and writing skills.
• Experience with government, political, regulatory, or similar work is a plus.
• Membership in good standing with the California Bar.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

Certifications

• California Bar membership.
