A distinguished law firm located in Orlando, FL, is seeking a skilled and driven Associate Attorney to join its Insurance Coverage practice group. Duties:

• Conduct detailed file review and provide comprehensive legal analyses of insurance claims and coverage issues

• Perform in-depth legal research and draft high-level briefs, memoranda, pleadings, and appellate submissions

• Handle court appearances, arbitration hearings, and client depositions

• Manage expert witness engagements and collaborate with experts during litigation

• Draft and respond effectively to discovery requests

• Prepare thoroughly for trial proceedings and attend trials as necessary

• Maintain an annual billable hour requirement of 1950 hours

• Travel as needed for casework

Requirements:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in insurance coverage litigation preferred

• Active license to practice law in Florida; additional state admissions are advantageous

• Strong analytical and strategic problem-solving skills

• Exceptional legal writing, research, and oral advocacy skills

• Ability to independently manage caseloads while working cooperatively in a team setting

• Professional responsiveness to client and team communications

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an ABA-accredited law school

Certifications:

• Admission to the Florida State Bar (mandatory)

• Admission to other State Bars (preferred)

Skills:
