Duties

• Advocate for clients by understanding their needs and forming strategic plans.
• Communicate with the managing attorney, legal assistant, and paralegals.
• Draft pleadings, motions, contracts, and other legal documents.
• Represent clients in court proceedings or depositions as needed.

Requirements

• Licensed to practice law in Michigan; Indiana licensure with willingness to waive into Michigan is acceptable.
• 2-4 years of litigation experience, preferably in family law.
• Strong courtroom skills and ability to advise clients effectively.
• Excellent research, writing, analytical, and organizational skills.
• Experience managing multiple projects or cases simultaneously.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Licensed to practice law in the State of Michigan.
