Job Overview:
A highly respected national law firm is actively seeking a mid-level associate attorney to join its Corporate & Securities practice group with a focus on healthcare transactions. This role offers the opportunity to advise innovative and complex clients in the healthcare sector on mergers and acquisitions, private equity and venture capital investments, and strategic joint ventures. The position offers hands-on experience, direct client exposure, and long-term career development within a collaborative and forward-thinking team.
Location:
Duties:
Represent healthcare clients in mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, and private equity/venture capital transactions
Assist with entity formation, corporate governance, and operational strategy matters
Draft and negotiate transaction documents and commercial agreements
Conduct and manage legal due diligence and regulatory reviews
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including regulatory, litigation, and tax attorneys
Support client relationship development and day-to-day project execution
Participate in internal training and development programs
Requirements:
3–5 years of experience handling mergers & acquisitions, private equity, and/or joint venture transactions
Previous experience advising clients in the healthcare industry is preferred
Demonstrated ability to manage projects independently and work within a collaborative environment
Strong interpersonal skills for regular client and team interactions
Education:
Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited U.S. law school
High academic achievement preferred
Certifications:
Active bar admission in the state corresponding to the chosen office location
Good standing with the applicable state bar
Skills:
Strong legal research, drafting, and analytical skills
Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
Proven ability to handle complex transactional matters with attention to detail
Capacity to manage multiple responsibilities and prioritize effectively
Proficiency in navigating healthcare-related legal issues is a plus
