Duties

• Represent clients in court proceedings, including hearings, trials, and other litigation matters
• Draft and prepare pleadings, motions, and other legal documents
• Advise clients on legal issues and business-related matters
• Negotiate settlements and resolve disputes when appropriate
• Conduct legal research and develop case strategies
• Ensure compliance with applicable legal standards and procedural requirements
• Communicate effectively with clients and maintain strong professional relationships
• Manage litigation matters from initial filing through resolution

Requirements

• At least 10 years of litigation experience
• Ability to independently manage cases and meet deadlines
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to build and maintain client relationships
• Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively

Education and Certifications

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
• Active membership in the Michigan State Bar
