Job Duties:

• Handle complex litigation matters, including police liability, defense of government entities, Section 1983 cases, Employment law, and product liability litigation.
• Represent clients in jury trials and other courtroom proceedings.
• Conduct legal research and analysis to support litigation strategies.
• Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and other legal documents.
• Conduct depositions, witness interviews, and other discovery activities.
• Collaborate with colleagues and clients to develop case strategies and tactics.
• Provide counsel to clients on legal matters and case developments.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• 10-13 years of litigation experience, preferably focusing on police liability, government defense, Section 1983 cases, Employment law, and product liability.
• Admission to the California State Bar.
• Strong trial experience, including significant exposure to jury trials.
• Excellent legal research, writing, and oral advocacy skills.
• Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines effectively.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Admission to the California State Bar.
