Trademark Associate Attorney

Profile

A law firm in Santa Fe is seeking a Trademark Associate Attorney. The Trademark Associate Attorney will be responsible for trademark searching, global trademark strategy development, and domestic and international trademark prosecution and enforcement. Experience with TTAB proceedings, online and social media enforcement, and UDRP proceedings is preferred. Superior writing and communication skills are required, and foreign language proficiency is highly valued.

Duties:

• Conduct trademark searches and analysis
• Develop global trademark strategies
• Handle domestic and international trademark prosecution and enforcement
• Assist with TTAB proceedings, online, and social media enforcement, and UDRP proceedings
• Draft legal documents including trademark applications, oppositions, and cease and desist letters
• Provide legal advice and counsel to clients on trademark matters
• Conduct legal research on trademark issues

Requirements:

• 2-5 years of trademark experience
• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
• Admission to the State Bar or eligibility for admission via reciprocity
• Strong understanding of trademark law and procedures
• Experience with trademark searching and prosecution
• Excellent writing and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
• Attention to detail and strong analytical skills
