Duties

• Handle all aspects of civil litigation defense, including pleadings, discovery, depositions, motions, and trial preparation.
• Develop and execute strategic defense plans tailored to each case.
• Conduct legal research and draft persuasive legal documents.
• Represent clients in court hearings, mediations, and arbitrations.
• Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and the judiciary.
• Collaborate with internal teams and support staff to ensure efficient case management.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in defense litigation preferred.
• Strong knowledge of civil procedure and evidence rules.
• Exceptional legal writing and oral advocacy skills.
• Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines efficiently.
• Proficiency in legal research tools (e.g., Westlaw, LexisNexis).
• Team-oriented mindset with a commitment to client service.

Education

• JD from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Active OBA license.
