Associate - Litigation Product Liability

Job Overview

A law firm seeks an associate with strong legal writing skills, particularly in pharmaceutical and medical device Daubert/Rule 702 motions practice, to join its Litigation group. This position is open to any of the firm's U.S. offices, including New York, NY, Reston, VA, San Diego, CA, and others.

Duties

• Communicate with clients effectively.
• Supervise junior associates.
• Collaborate with experts in the field.
• Assist with fact development and depositions.
• Review and draft discovery responses, briefs, and motions.
• Help develop case strategy.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of litigation experience, preferably at an AmLaw 100 firm.
• Extensive experience writing briefs, including Rule 702 and Daubert issues.
• Experience with products liability litigation.
• Familiarity with the pharmaceutical and medical device industry is a plus.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) from a nationally recognized school.

Certifications

• Admitted to practice in the jurisdiction of application.
• New York bar admission encouraged.
