The ideal candidate will be highly skilled in managing civil cases through trial, conducting depositions, and negotiating settlements. Duties:

• Manage and litigate insurance defense matters, focusing on construction defects, bodily injury defense, and other insurance claims.

• Conduct depositions, oral arguments, and hearings in various courts.

• Negotiate settlements and provide clear client reporting.

• Handle appearances and assignments independently, with minimal supervision.

• Provide strategic legal advice and guidance to clients throughout the litigation process.

• Ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.

Requirements:

• Must be licensed to practice law in Texas; additional state licensure is a plus.

• Minimum of 7 years of experience in insurance defense, with a focus on construction defect, bodily injury defense, and other related insurance matters.

• Proven track record of handling civil cases through trial.

• Strong negotiation and communication skills.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.

• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Texas Bar License (Required)

• Additional state licensure is a plus.

Skills:

• Litigation experience in insurance defense, including construction defect and bodily injury defense.

• Expertise in trial preparation, depositions, and courtroom procedures.

• Strong settlement negotiation skills.

• Excellent written and verbal communication.

• Ability to manage a caseload independently.
