A prestigious law firm based in Pittsburgh, PA, is seeking a skilled and experienced Employment Litigation Associate Attorney to join their team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in litigation and a passion for providing legal counsel in employment-related matters.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Defend and represent clients in lawsuits involving various employment-related claims, including discrimination charges and agency investigations.
• Act as a legal advocate for employers in court, during mediation, arbitration proceedings, and before administrative agencies.
• Handle cases related to class/collective actions, harassment, retaliation, employment torts, discrimination, contract disputes, and non-compete matters.
• Provide legal advice and counsel to employers on labor and employment laws, helping to shape policies and strategies that align with business goals.

Requirements:

• A Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an ABA-accredited law school with a strong academic record.
• 4-8 years of litigation experience, with a preference for those with a background in employment law.
• Active membership in the Pennsylvania Bar or eligibility to obtain admission.
• In-depth understanding of state and federal court procedures, as well as employment-related agency regulations.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment with a high level of organization and time management.
• A professional and collegial demeanor with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an ABA-accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Active membership in the Pennsylvania Bar (or ability to obtain promptly).
