Location:

• Columbia, Maryland

Duties:

• Draft basic and intermediate estate planning documents

• Administer probate estates in Maryland from start to finish

• Prepare estate accountings and federal/state estate tax returns

• Provide counsel to clients regarding estate and trust administration

• Manage and maintain strong client relationships

• Collaborate with colleagues on complex estate and tax matters

Requirements:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in estate planning and administration

• Proven experience preparing estate documents and probate filings in Maryland

• Proficiency with estate tax return preparation and estate accountings

• Strong interpersonal and client communication skills

• Ability to manage matters independently while contributing to a team

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

• Active license to practice law in the State of Maryland (required)

Skills:

• Detailed knowledge of Maryland probate and estate laws
