Location:

Duties:

• Handle complex commercial cases in state and federal courts
• Prepare significant pleadings, motions, and discovery
• Assist with depositions and site visits for disputes
• Manage pre-trial matters, trials, and appeals
• Investigate, manage, and conduct discovery of large collections of documents and data
• Perform legal research and drafting of documents
• Collaborate with senior attorneys and clients

Requirements:

• 0-3 years of experience in commercial litigation
• Experience in handling complex cases in state and federal courts
• Experience in discovery management, including handling large collections of documents and data
• Strong legal research, writing, and oral communication skills
• Detail-oriented with the ability to manage a diverse workload
• Licensed to practice law and in good standing in Illinois

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

• Must be licensed to practice law in Illinois and maintain good standing

Skills:

• Strong litigation and legal research skills
• Ability to manage multiple complex cases and deadlines
• Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
