A law firm seeks an Employment Litigation Associate in Richmond, VA. The role involves representing employers in various employment-related legal matters, including litigation and compliance advisory services. Duties

• Litigate lawsuits involving a broad range of employment-related claims and agency charges of discrimination.
• Represent employers in court, before administrative agencies, at mediations, and in arbitration in employment matters.
• Advise employers on compliance with employment laws and related risk management.

Requirements

• JD from an accredited law school, with excellent academic credentials.
• 6+ years of experience, with a strong preference for an employment law background.
• Current VA bar admission or ability to obtain admission.
• Understanding of current agency (state and federal) procedures.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Attention to detail and commitment to excellence.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong organizational, time management, and project management skills.

Education

• JD from an accredited law school.

• Current VA bar admission or ability to obtain admission.
