Duties

• Develop strategies to support clients throughout the legal process.
• Mentor Junior Associates, providing coaching and feedback.
• Represent the firm at case management meetings and offer strategic insights.
• Ensure timely filing of all legal documents.
• Research legal issues and draft motions for court hearings.
• Maintain professional relationships with clients.
• Participate in regular goal-setting and performance reviews.
• Stay informed on legal landscape changes through ongoing training.

Requirements

• High energy and enthusiasm for client service.
• Experience in drafting and arguing motions, including post-conviction motions.
• Minimum of 10 felony jury trials and preliminary hearings.
• Admission to the California Bar and good standing.
• Willingness to travel throughout Alameda County and the Bay Area.
• Knowledge of online case management systems.
• Dedication to zealous client advocacy.

Education

• J.D. from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Admission to the State Bar of California.

Skills

• Strong advocacy and communication skills.
• Ability to mentor and lead junior staff.
• Proficiency in legal research and motion drafting.
• Fluency in a second language is a plus.
